I have a Power BI data source and want to create a Paginated Report. The thing is that my data is refreshed on a monthly basis, and the reports must be up to date. I didn't find any information regarding whether when the data source is updated, it will automatically be updated in my dataset in the report builder or paginated reports.
For example, the database in my power BI is up to September, cause data in October hadn't been updated yet (since it's the current month). However, in November, I will need to export the paginated report for October, so the data source will be updated. What will happen here, I will have to create a new one. Can I refresh data like I do in Power BI?
Suppose you are using a Power BI dataset to create a paginated report. In that case, you need to set a scheduled refresh for the dataset, and the paginated report will be refreshed after the dataset is refreshed.
If you use other data sources, you do not need to configure scheduled refresh, the paginated report will connect to the data source in real time, and the data used by the report is the latest.
