Hello,
I am migrating a pixel perfect report from Microstrategy to Power Bi. For this I have to make a paginated report with Power BI Report Builder.
This report is static and I just need to be able to export a .pdf with its data.
The report contains a table of about 18 columns and when I export it I split the table into different pages. That is, the first 6 columns on page 1, the next ones on page 2 and the last ones on page 3.
Is there any way to force them all on the same page (either by reducing the size as much as necessary, or by exporting in A3 or A2...)?
Thank you very much.
Hi @Jajiro ,
Change the Physical Page Size: You can adjust the physical page size to larger formats such as A3 or A2 to accommodate more columns on a single page. To do this, go to the Report Properties pane or the Page Setup dialog box, and modify the PageHeight and PageWidth properties. Make sure to adjust the margins as well to make optimal use of the page area. Paginated Reports Pagination.
Adjust the Font Size and Table Properties: If changing the page size is not sufficient or not an option, consider reducing the font size of the table text and adjusting the column widths to fit more content. Ensure that the table properties are set to keep all columns on one page. You may have to compromise on the readability of the text for it to fit on one page.
Override Default Settings When Exporting: When exporting to PDF, you can override the default page size settings in the Device Information settings for the PDF renderer. This can be done by specifying custom device information settings in the export options.
Could you please provide the current page sizes and margins you are using? Additionally, knowing the exact version of Power BI Report Builder you are utilizing would be helpful. This information will allow for more tailored guidance.
Best Regards,
Dino Tao
