Paginated Style Report
Hi Everyone!
I want to create a paginated report that shows stats/details per user, with 1-2 page details per user. Problem is, there are about 50 users in total and I am confined by PDF , so I need to create 50 INDIVIDUAL PDFs! Also, if there are more users in next month's report, the number of PDFs increases as a result of the increased users.
Furthermore, I only have PowerBI Pro and don't have access to Premium capacity. The data source is from a 5000 row excel spreadsheet.
What alternatives do I have to create the "paginated" report as described?
Thanks!
You can use Power BI Report Builder for free on your desktop to make your 50+ page pdf easily. You only need a premium capacity if you want to publish, subscribe, etc. You can connect to your published power bi dataset as the datasource (see the youtube link below), or you can connect to your local pbix file (see this post I wrote on that a while ago, but I recommend connecting to your published dataset.

Thanks mahoneypat, this is very helpful!
I'm not very familiar with PBI Report Builder and I have gone through some youtube videos you suggested. How do I setup so that I have the details of the User in one page?
Mysterously, there is also a blank page that appear on almost every other page. Has anyone experienced this before and know a way to fix it?
Thanks!

You should be able to set up a Group on the user field and then set up page breaks to get your desired results. FYI that Power BI Report Builder came from another product that has been around for a long time called SSRS Report Builder, and there is a lot of training content out there that applies. You can google specific questions with that product to find your answers. There is also a good YouTube series by Wise Owl too - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLNIs-AWhQzcmEFHyxCRwA_gb29WOz5SJU
