Hi All,
I am working with Power BI Report Builder for the first time and am gauging the capabilities of report builder. I am not sure about the following:
1. How do I utilize the PBI desktop bookmarks in the paginated reports? I do get a prompt for matching the parameters but I am not sure If the bookmarks would work on it or not?
2. For date range slicers, PBI desktop has a single date field. However, PBI report builder takes two fields for the TO & FROM date parameter. Should I connect both to the same date field when connecting parameters?
3. I am facing an issue with the default value for the 'TO' and 'FROM' date parameter. It only works when I select the type as 'Text' but wouldn't work when 'Date/Time' type is selected giving a 'default value of not expected type' error. Even when I select no default values for the parameter to overcome this issue, It still wouldn't work.
4. It's a weird issue about deleting parameters. I tried deleting a parameter from 3 different menus (Query Designer, Dataset Properties & Parameter Field in the Report Data Pane) but it would still give an error when trying to run the report about 'parameter is referenced but does not exist.'
