Is it just me or are the report design options in Power BI Report builder extremely limited? I want to create a paginated report to distribute via email to a client list of around 200 members. I have a dataset with banners and logos for the clients. I want to design a cover page for a paginated report that includes a semi-transparent version of a client's banner image. But I can't seem to adjust the transparency of images. And I also can't seem to add shapes like triangles or waves (I want to shape the image so it is not just a rectangle).
Are there any plans for adding basic design functionality like adjusting image transparency and adding shapes to Paginated Reports? Am I the only one that finds this deficit extremely limiting?
That's not really that responsive. The video doesn't even touch on the topic. I guess the takeaway here is that Paginated Reports just doesn't have basic design functionality like adding shapes or making images partially transparent, which is unfortunate. It would be nice to be able to include a well-designed report cover page in this report-building software.
