Paginated Report dont work together with RLS
paginated report does not work with RLS. I have integrated a paginated report into PowerBI, and when I run the test, the paginated report is not affected. I have also linked my user to the role, but at the same time I am an administrator. PowerBI visualization objects work. I have linked a specific column to a role. Paginated Report is connected to a PowerBI model. I do not get the opportunity to change the connection string with the plug. ->; roles = "xxxx" Anyone have a solution to this?

Anonymous , Hope you have done like is this
1. Created a power bi report with RLS.
2. Published it and assigned it user/security group. Option under three dots of dataset
3. used the dataset of above-published report in paginated report
4. Created a paginated reported and published and assign it to user or security group already used in step 2

I see, but I am not using dynamic RLS with USERPRINCIPALNAME() . I use PATHCONTAINS . I havent testet it with userprincipalname. I hope that still work fine. If not it will be a huge BUG. If I have a option til integrate paginated report with PowerBI model as a source i exspect tatt then role functionality will work. For me it seem that is not a case. I hope that someone can verifify this feature.
I have already done this 4 step you refer to, and my conclution is that Paginated Report dont works togheter when I watnt to access a Power BI modell as source and I dont have oportunity to manintain the source string with roles='xxx' . I hope you or anyone can test it with solution there I use PATHCONTAINS.
