Are there limitations on the types of fields that can be used in the paginated report visual?
I have a paginated report that has a number of filters and work fine outside of the Power BI visual. However when I add the paginated report into the visual in Power BI desktop and try to add all the fields for parameters I get an error on adding fields that are either from a calculation group or from a calculated table.
Error:
Is this expected behaviour?

Ok thanks @v-xiaotang. I have since been able to get it working by adding a measure into the field pane where it asks you to put in Parameters.

@jeroenterheerdt please find the shared sample pbix showing a calculation group as part of the model. I also placed a paginated report visual in the canvas which although isn't connected yet to a published report you can already see the issue that occurs in my real scenario. In my real pbix I have published the dataset, created the paginated report on the same dataset and added the visual in the proper way - and still got this same error message.

Hi @ay5h
I've checked your file, and find there is no direct relationship between table Time Intelligence and the other 2 tables, so the visual does not know how to combine them. This rule is defined by Power BI Desktop, and visuals in Power BI Desktop should respect it.
This can be verified by removing the Calc column. If we remove the Calc column, then the visual will work.

@jeroenterheerdt are you possibly able to comment on whether this should work please 🙏
without more details about your data model it's hard to say. Please take a look at the troubleshooting info here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/transform-model/desktop-create-and-manage-relationships#re...
Thanks for replying! I will try to create a small pbix to show the setup. However I would say that in this situation I'm referring to a calculation group which has no relationship
