Paginate report so slow compare with report on PBI desktop with same dataset and same form of report

Hi everyone,

I take 9 senconds run a tabular report on PBI desktop but with same report I move it to paginate report (using report builder), it take 58 seconds to run.

Two report is totally same and using same dataset and measure, no more coding and customize.

How can I impore performance of PBI paginate report base on Report Builder.

Hi @thuantv ,

Generally speaking, it takes longer to open the paginate report with report builder. When you open other pbix files in the same way, is it the same result?

You can optimize the data model in the following ways to see if it helps: Optimizing the data model

If this is indeed a common problem, I will promptly report to the Microsoft official, hoping to optimize this problem in the next update.
