I have 1,000 pages in a column.
Is there a calculated measure which will for example will allow me to filter my table Y and Column Z and return only the total numbers of pages which contain the word apple in the URL.
Solved! Go to Solution.
If the word that you're looking for is fixed (as in - you can hardcode it), then you can create a DAX measure using the SEARCH, FIND or CONTAINSSTRING functions.
If you need to be able to search for a word, then the default slicer selection isn't that great. I would recommend you create a scorecard, and then put column Z and aggregate using COUNT. Then, in the visual filter select the advanced filtering option and let the user enter the search term.
