Page Wallpaper and Canvas - Get rid of glow effect

Hi 
How do i get rid of the glow effect around my canvas?

This bothered me too. I fixed it by setting my Canvas background to 100% transparent, and then using Wallpaper to set the background colour. No more fugly glow.

Any luck with this?  I would like to remove this glow as well.
