I have applied page-level security in Power BI. It's working on a power bi desktop.
Still, I'm able to view all the pages in Power BI services.
Why is page-level security not working in Power BI services?
hey @kulkarnipriya87,
officially it's not supported but there is a workaround you can do:
Page-Level Security in Power BI
this approach does not rely on page navigation, bookmarks, precalculated data tables etc. And you just define who should have access to each page.
Hi @v-tangjie-msft , hi Support,
Could you please tell if your answer still holds?
Regards
Igor
Hi @kulkarnipriya87 ,
Power Bi does not currently support page level security features.
What you can do is hide certain pages from users, but it is not 100% secure.
Do you assign roles to users on the service? Or do you use rls in combination with workspace roles? Please try granting the user only the workspace viewer role and try again. Refer to the documentation to check if the user has only read-only access to the dataset.
Please refer to the following documents for more information.

It would be really helpful if Microsoft would give us Page Level Security that rolled up into the service. I don't like building different versions of my reports, and then having to refresh the same data sources multiple times. If there was a "Page Selection" option within the Roles setup, that would awesome. I honestly cannot believe Power Bi doesn't already have this in 2024.
I am having this same issue. I have a page with highly confidential info that only a small audience needs but they need to access at the same time as the rest of my dashboard. It's frustrating that the only current solution is to use a slicer/bookmarks because it's not 100% secure. I don't understand how Power BI hasn't provided this given how often I am seeing this question come up when researching.
try this approach @emily_anderson! no bookmarks / page navigation that can be easily worked around
