Hi Anonymous I am attaching screenshot below .I have added a shape for the X-axis and Y-axis lines. However, when the discount rate reaches 0, the discount rate line overlaps with the X-axis shape, making it difficult to hover over the values. Is there any padding option available to adjust the X-axis labels downward to prevent this overlap?

Hi Bhavyasree24 ,
In Power BI, there’s no straightforward way to add padding to axis labels. However, you can try these workarounds to prevent the X-axis from overlapping with lines or shapes on your chart:
-
Turn on the X-axis title and either give it a name or leave it blank. This adds some extra space below the axis, which acts as padding.
-
Adjust the Y-axis settings to start slightly below 0 (like -0.1). This creates a small gap between the chart line and the X-axis.
