Hello
I hope someone here can help.
I would like to connect to a reporting API from one of my company's suppliers. I have no experience connecting this to Power Bi. The supplier said we need to use PUT Request. Does anyone know how to do this in Power Bi? Is there a connector or maybe a M Query statement I could use?
They have these two options
cURL:
$ curl https://pcast.suppliername.com/pcast/reporting/publishing \ -u <applicationId>:<secret> \ -H "Accept: text/csv" \ -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ -X PUT \ -d '{ "publishingReport": { "applicationIds": ["example.com"], "start": "2020-01-01T00:00:00Z", "end": "2020-02-01T00:00:00Z" } }' --remote-name --remote-header-name
HTTP
PUT /pcast/reporting/publishing HTTP/1.1 Host: pcast.SUPPLIERNAME.com Accept: application/json Content-Type: application/json Content-Length: 157 Authorization: Basic TESTKEY { "publishingReport": { "applicationIds": ["example.com"], "start": "2020-01-01T00:00:00Z", "end": "2020-02-01T00:00:00Z" } }
I have all credentials need for both options.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Joe
