POWER BI PRO DESKTOP: Upload and Publish errors on pbix file

I am getting this error when doing upload to my Workspace of the pbix file that is 1.5 GB in size.

I also tried using the Publish option too and got this error:

Any help with this appreciated.

Hi @Freddie2024 ,

If you are getting the capacity errors, that means that you will have to either break up your file into multiple smaller reports OR you can purchase a license with more capacity - like a PPU or a Premium License.

Just as collinq said, you could purchase Power BI Premium which allows large dataset in Power BI Service. You can go to look at this page: Power BI: Pricing Plan | Microsoft Power Platform

The following table describes recommended SKUs for various .pbix sizes:

SKU Size of .pbix
P1 < 3 GB
P2 < 6 GB
P3, P4, P5 up to 10 GB
