Just to provide an update - I have upgraded Power BI Server and Power BI Desktop version to May 2022. However, this still is not working. Can somebody please fill me in why Power BI Server does not appear to allow parameter binding to direct query. Thanks.

    Hi JRBBI ,

    This feature is currently not available on the power bi report server.
    Please submit your ideas on power bi ideas or vote for the idea.

      Gee that is dissapointing. Thanks for letting me know. Perhaps this will be a feature in the next addition. Will definitely share the idea.
