Dear all,

i'm new in using power bi and i need to know if it is possible to insert a filter on the first row of a table...like in excel.

Someone could help me?

Thank you very much in advance.

  • To add custom visual

Then type 'Table Sorter' and click add to be able to use it in your report

  • Hi geniida

You can try the custom visual called 'Table Sorter' it enables disaplying data in a table with in-built basic filter.

  • Hello geniida ,

it is possible in the data view to filter like in excel, but if you mean in a matrix or table visuals then no it's not possible but you can add slicers alongside the visual that users could use to filter.

Learn more about slicers here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/visuals/power-bi-visualization-slicers?tabs=powerbi-desktop
