POWER BI '267' error

I am using power BI for revit model health report and i have created and extracted model health data from revit. When I open the template file for power BI it prompts me to add an excel file. When I do so I get the '267' error. The file path isnt going through one drive and I pasted the path without "" on the ends of it. I can figure out why it cant read the excel file

This error typically indicates that the directory name is invalid. 

You can try the following methods to troubleshoot the problem:

• Check the File Path: Ensure that the file path you are using is correct and accessible. 
• Verify Permissions: Ensure that you have the necessary permissions to access the Excel file.
• Use Full Path: Make sure you are using the full path to the Excel file. For example, instead of using a relative path, use the complete path like C:\Users\YourName\Documents\YourFile.xlsx.
• Update Power BI: Ensure that you are using the latest version of Power BI.

Hi @FET_369,

Make sure that power bi have permission to access that file.

Try to Load the File in Power Query

• Open Power BI Desktop.
• Click Get Data > Excel and manually select the file.
• If it works, reassign the file path in your query.

@FET_369 , Usually error when it not able to read file. Check if file open and locked. Or got renamed or moved.

Open power query and refresh and check query step by query step for an error
