Hi wmorris20,
I haven't' found any similar file which the same function. You can use the sample file, it can runs without any compatibility issues.
Based on test, I found the sample file is a custom query used to merge and expand the log files and display the specify columns.
You can follow below steps to use it:
1. Download and open it.
2. Click edit queries enter to query editor.
3. Use your path of trace folder to replace the text stored in VAR_LogFolder variable.
4. Close and apply the change.
5. Refresh at report level.

There are a couple of problems I have found with it. An early column split by colon does not work all the time, because the entries are inconsistent. Occasionally, you'll get a type of "{Start". Additionally, the JSON that gets expanded into columns explicitly names the columns to split, but there are many more than it will display. For any testing, I would recommend a lot of logging first with multiples types of connections. The logging varies quite a bit.
