PBI won't paste a visual to another .PBIX (with same shared dataset)

I completely agree with you that most of the times Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V doesn't work in case of separate PBIX files.

You can try using the Copy and Paste options from Home ribbon, it works completely fine.

I found out a solution to "unlock" the CTRL+V.

1 - CTRL - C a visual (outside or inside the dashboard, doesn't matter)

2 - In case CTRL + V doesn't work, add a blank visual

3 - CTRL + V works

4 - Delete the blank visual

That's the kind of bug I'd like a fix for ...
