PBI visualize help: How to add Data Labels to maps

Hi All,

I would appreciate if anyone could assist my specific question.  I struggle to visualize values of different segments on a map – both numerically and visually. I searched all over the internet and could only find a way to show the total value (link). However, I need to show the numerical value of each pie segment distributed geographically.

For example, these example pie charts would have the numerical values shown on them (i.e., 25%, $100)

I'm quite lost. I have not found a reference online, and have tried many different ways myself.  I would really appreciate it if you can even point me to the right direction.

Best Regards,

ITAI

It is too congested to plot all the data labels in the map. Can you please try Tooltip page to Visualize your desired data when you hover the mouse/pointer to it.?

Hi Farhan,

Thank you for your quick reply. I have the same issue with the following map:

I have also tried a custom tooltip, however, I was only able to show a single value for each segment at a time when I hover over each color. I can not get all values at the same time on a tooltip.

I've been having the same exact problem...  Even on Azure maps, I can not get regular labels to show up on very regular charts while those charts are geographic.
