PBI - fixed the selection on the drop-down list

is there a way to fix the selection of the drop-down list and users cannot change it?

No you cannot fix the selection in slicer till now as per my experience but you can one thing:

1. Select your sicer

2. Go to main filter pane 

3. Filter on this visual

4. Only check your required itme name and other unchck.

5. Now only one itme will display in your slicer.

Hello,

the easiest approach is to apply the filter in the Filter pane and hide the slicer from users, or use RLS if the value must never be changed by specific users
