PBI Desktop open in a small window after mini- and maximize

hello,

maybe more a window question than power bi desktop but when i minimalize power bi desktop and open it again it is small (half of the sceen). I use notebook + second screen. sounds easy but couldnt find anything 🤕

maybe a bug since today?

Hi @Pikachu-Power 

Do you get the same problem with the external screen connected?  Try disconnecting it and then rebooting the laptop.

Presumably the external screen is not the same size as the laptop screen?

When you minimise PBI and then restore it, it might be using the laptop screensize and the default size to go back to.

Yes i have a bigger external screen before me. When I minimise PBI and then restore it, it seems to be using the laptop screensize. But found no way to change that. Other programms work as usual.

Since Update March 2021 Power BI Desktop always accept the resolution from the notebook (which is smaller and has a lower resolution than my bigger screen). Therefore after minimize and maximize it gets smaller. I checked everything with IT (Windows Update and so on). Nothing helped.

An innovation or bug in Power BI?

Does  someone else have the same problem?

With the new Power BI Desktop Update April 2021 it works again.
