PBI Desktop Refresh error- Failure with other queries during manual refresh

Hello,

I updated PBI to the latest desktop software yesterday 2-2-23.  When I manually refresh my file in PBI Desktop it goes through the normal evaluating queries, waiting for other queries, then errors out and closes the window. After multiple attempts I was able to catch the error "Failed due to other queries"  

 

I manually am able to refresh each table by clicking on the table on the right side of the page and selecting refresh.  

I am able to refresh each query within Power Query without issue.

I went into Power Query and unselected 'include in refresh' on all but 1 single query and I still receive the same issue, failed due to other queries. Even though there is only a single query being refreshed.

 

I am confused as to what is going on and what to do next to troubleshoot.

    Hey SkipB21 !

    You can try a downgrad and check if the issues persist. If yes, probably you have some trouble in your querie. Sometimes in Power Query the data is refreshed without error, but in Desktop because of the model, troubles can shows up!

    I down graded to the last version I had on hand and it refreshes just fine like it is supposed to.
