PBI Desktop December 2023 - Table View Default Behavior

Hi MS team, 

I noticed the new version has "Data" pane in Table View collapsed as default, while in the past it was expanded. Could we revert it back?

There is only 1 pane in this view, there is really no need to collapse because it's needed 100% of the time, the only reason user would come to table view is to manage data, but it now takes extra click to get it back.

    Hi QC ,

    When Power BI Desktop doesn't have data, this pane will collapse by default, if you import data into Power BI Desktop, it will expand automatically.

      Thanks for the reply, but you misunderstood my question, I was referring to data in table view, not report view >>

        Hi QC ,

        It also expand automatically in table view:

        My Power BI Desktop version:

        Version: 2.124.1052.0 64-bit (December 2023)

         

        Please try to uninstall and re-install the Power BI Desktop.
