P and L Matrix help
I'm creating a P and L matrix. I'm working on two methods, one using the Profitbase matrix, the other based on using the Power BI matrix itself (as this opens up other opportunities, eg tooltips, drill throughs).
I'm working towards having a standalone table to include my time periods (which will be used in columns), eg month, previous month, month last year, year to date etc. with P and L (income, revenue, trading profit etc) in rows and using SWITCH and SELECTED values to minimise the number of measures I need to build, particularly as I will have other matrices, eg showing actual vs budget vs forecast.
Feels like I'm reinventing the wheel, as many other people would have done this previously...are there any good resources, downloads that you can suggest I use ?
