Hi to all
I am a novice with Power BI and trying to learn more. I normally do a lot of analysis in Excel but I am trying to work with bigger data sets and present the information in a meaningful way. I would greatly appreciate some help with the below.
I am trying to compare the actual sales data of my company's specifice sku against the industry average and standard deviation of the industry data.
As an example please see below graph for the industry averages.
The blue line represents the average sales for the first 11 months of the industry with the upper and lower limits based on the standard deviation. However, I want to add specific items so that I can toggle the respective items but the industry info remains static. Please see the below graph.
As you will see the black line now represents a specific Product A and I want to compare specific items against the relative industry averages.
Can this be done in Power BI?
Thank you in advance.
Regards
Divvie
Hello
Yes, you will need to have the industry values in your model and create one measure for each indicator.
You can also explore other visuals since you want to analyze by products.

Thank you Bruno
I have set up measures for the averages and the standard deviations and it works perfectly well.
How do i add the individual items with a measure that I can pick as i need?
Hello,
you can share the model with dummy data in order to understand how to prepare the metrics ?
