Overlay different columns from the same table in a visual
Hi,
Is there a way I can overlap two different columns in the same visual? These two columns are from the same table with same values so I imagine a SQL self-join would work but I couldn't figure out a way to do that in PBI. Quick screenshot below:
I'd like to show the renew measures in a visual by overlapping transaction and asset end date columns. As you can tell these two columns are both dates. Sample pbix file link here.
Thanks in advance!
Dennis
Hi Anonymous ,
As far as I know, overlay columns in visuals could not support in power bi currently.
Perhaps you can submit the requirement to ideas and add your comments there to make this feature coming sooner: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas
It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.Best Regards,
