Out of Memory Error

Hi Team, I have recently updated my system to June 2019 Update and just realised that my report is now throwing Out of memory error. It is showing the error within 30 seconds of opening the power BI desktop file which earlier (before June update) it has never thrown this error and report was working fine.

Recently my colleagues also starting facing Out of memory error for his report as well.

Can you please confirm the steps that i can do to avoid this issue ? and do other users also facing this issue in their resp. reports ?

Clear the cache (File->Options and Settings->Options->Data load) and re-open your PBIX file for a try.

Thanks for your response, I have tried this option but still the report is showing out of memory error. Someone mentioned online that if you go to:

File --> Options & Settings --> Options --> Data Load --> Turn off the Loading of Background data.

After that the report was working fine ... Just wanted to check :

1) Is this a permamnet solution or just a quick fix to resolve the issue till the next update comes.

2) Did turning off background data affect the report in any way  ? I havent published the report yet.

I didn't encounter the "Out of memory" problem on my side. (Version: 2.70.5494.761 64-bit). It might be an intermittent problem.

Hi,

I also just imported a File I was working on to my laptop, and this has just crashed with the Out of memory message.  
 I unchecked the Preview data in Options but now I can't see my file at all?  

Any help?

Any update on this?  My desktop version crashed several times this morning and I can't now access my files.
