Oracle server name formatting rules
There seem to be some formatting rules for the server name entered in this field:
Sometimes I get this error message when I hit Ok:
Can you explain what the rules are?

needs more details. Are you planning to use TNSNAMES.ORA or do you attempt to connect TNS-less?
