I was working fine with my power bi desktop and when I updated to the latest version ok the desktop, it broke the connection to the oracle database, and this message started to show:
The provider being used is deprecated: 'System.Data.OracleClient requires version 8.1.7 or later of Oracle client software'. Visit https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkID=272376 to install the official provider.
Hi, @flaquerina007
The supported Oracle versions are Oracle 9 and later and Oracle client software 8.17 and later. Please check if the version is supported in Power BI Desktop.
Best Regards
Allan

Refer to the connector on the page
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-connect-oracle-database
In the zip of connector or there is a readme. Make sure you follow that. Also, make sure you do Env path entry post-deployment. Else it will keep telling no suitable driver.
Check the entries you need make, change the installation location
That will take you to a page that has an installer on Oracle's site. You have to install it.
