Oracle DB connection issue

Hi All,

 

I am getting the below error from power bi desktop while connecting the Oracle database. This issue comes every time after updating the power bi desktop version.  After installing the client ,then I am able to connect oracle database.

 

Can you please tell me what is the issue or need to do this every time after updating the version ?

    I haven't reproduced your issue. I uninstall the previous version of Power BI Desktop (32 bit), and install the latest version one. It doesn't throw any warning message when I connect Oracle. My Oracle Data Access Component provider version is 11.2.0.2.1. Please always install the lastest release of ODAC for your Oracle.

      I have installed the oracle client from the page referred in your reply. But every time I am getting the same error while updating the powerbi version.
