Option 'Visual header' not visible in Power BI

Hi,

I saw a video using an older version of Power BI in which the option 'Visual header' was explained. When I tried to use that in my (Dutch) Power BI, the option wasn't there. I suppose it has been moved to another paragraph but I could not find it. Can anybody explain to me where this option resides?

Regards,
Ken

Thank you, @MFelix, for your response.

Hi KenDeRuiter,

We appreciate your inquiry through the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.

Please note that the 'Visual header' setting has not been removed; however, its location has changed slightly in more recent versions of Power BI. This can sometimes lead to confusion, especially for users operating in a localized language version, such as Dutch.

We kindly suggest following the steps below to resolve the issue:

  1. Select the visual (e.g., bar chart, pie chart, table, etc.) on your report canvas.
  2. Navigate to the Visualizations pane on the right.
  3. Click on the paint roller icon to open the Format section.
  4. Scroll down and expand the section labeled Visual Header. In some cases, you may need to scroll or search under General > Header icons, depending on the type of visual or recent updates.
  5. If you are using Power BI in Dutch, this section may be labeled slightly differently, such as Visuele koptekst, or it may be found under Algemeen > Pictogrammen koptekst.
  6. Once expanded, you can toggle on or off various header icons such as focus mode, filters, etc.

If you find our response helpful, we kindly request that you mark it as the accepted solution and provide kudos. This will assist other community members facing similar queries.

Thank you.
