Open new filtered window based on table click
Is there a way to have a new window with the same report open that automatically populates filters based on which data in a table is clicked?
You can use a filter URL to open a new window:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-url-filters
You can create a measure that is the URL, such as:
URL = "app.powerbi.com...... ?filter=Store/Territory eq" & SELECTEDVALUE( ID )
Otherwise, I would suggest drill through reports. These can be accross multiple reports:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-cross-report-drill-through

Not Sure, I got it completely. But If your table relations are bidirectional. Then the fact should filter dimension/ filter value.

I meant more is there a way to automatically open a new window of a report when a user clicks on an ID in a table. Then, this new window would be filtered based on the ID that they had clicked in the table.
