Only part of the data is loaded into the dashboard

Hi,

Power BI loads only a part of my data into the dashboard (let's say it loads only data from last year and last month, but nothing from the first half of this year). Yet I see that this data exists fine in Power Query, but it doesn't show up in the dashboard after refreshing. There are no relevant time filters applied. The dashboard was working fine before, now I only made some changes in Power Query - but as I say, the data looks fine in the final step of the table I am trying to apply.

Does anyone have any idea what can be causing this?

Thanks!

I'd try building a simple table visual, with summarisation off and only using one source table, with no measures. If that shows all data, then add parts one by one (measures, lookups) until the data disappears. You then will know which item needs attention.

Hi kleigh,

It shows up fine in the data view, thank you for the pointer.

I tried removing all filters from all pages and the data is still not showing up in the visuals.

Nothing has changed in the relationship mapping either from when the dashboard worked.

Do you have any other ideas?

Does the data show up in Data view? If so, something is restricting the data in the visual.

Is the Power Query view up-to-date? Sometimes, the Power Query screen will preview with previously loaded data. Make sure to Refresh Preview in the table that is loading to the model.
