On-Premises Gateway Issue - Change Account and Time Out Error
Hi Team, We have PBI VM where our Report DB is configured and have individual user accounts for team to access VM. 4 months ago User1 has configured On-Premises gateway for few reports post that User2 had to take over reports and maintain gateway. When User2 took over, gateway was not responding in PBI Service, on VM also didn't find any issue. But in service it was saying that gateway was not running. Then we have Uninstalled existing one and tried to configure gateway with new user but it is not allowing us to do so, attached is the issue.
Could you please help us with the issue.
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Bindu
Failed to update gateway details. You may need to change the account the gateway runs under.
This request operation sent to net.tcp://127.0.0.1:45375/powerbi/gatewayconfiguration/service did not receive a reply within the configured timeout (00:01:00). The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout. This may be because the service is still processing the operation or because the service was unable to send a reply message. Please consider increasing the operation timeout (by casting the channel/proxy to IContextChannel and setting the OperationTimeout property) and ensure that the service is able to connect to the client.
