On-Premise Gateway installation login

Hi all,

I'm planning to install the on-premise data gateway on a windows server 2016 and while reviewing the installation instructions i notice that a login is necessary. Question: Is the connection only for authentification purposes (tenant informations, etc...) or should i create a service account with its own O365 Licence?

Hi @nverret,

Once you have installed On-Premise data gateway, you need to sign in with your work or school account which is used to run this gateway service. This is also the account that you sign in Power BI service with.

I think, we have to use Domain user windows login in account... (that's how we did)
