On Prem Gateway (Enterprise)

Hi

I am probably missing something.

The report was created with some local csv and excel files.
data path C:\user\.....

I have now published the report online. I have set up an on-prem gateway on a server (enterprise). Server incl. all connections set up.

The data is now on a network drive on which the on-prem gateway is running. Therefore, the path was set to E:\..... in the connections. All Sources are Online.

After uploading, however, I cannot change the data sources to my gateway. "map to" is not displayed. no matter whether I create the connections beforehand, or with.

Both Power BI Desktop and Gateway have been updated with the new July update.

Already tried out:
Path in Power Bi Desktop changed to E:\...
But I cannot save it like this. There is no access to E:\... on the device. This is only possible via the gateway.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Regards,

@thebeginner1204 , The address above should be the same as what you have in the power bi file. If that E: it should show e and you should fix that. Republish and try again

@amitchandak

which address above?
if you mean the one in the Power BI Desktop (printscreen)?

That's not possible because E: is not available there (on my Laptop). Power BI cannot be saved and published if the data sources are not available.

THX for help.
