For the first formula, I am getting the error "Sum is not a function" and "Cannot find name 'sum "
But the second formula appears to be fine. Both are whole number fields. I am using direct query.

Hey @Anonymous ,
Maybe the first formula is used to create a measure, while the second formula is trying to develop a measure.
Check the 'icon' next to the formula in the data pane.
Hopefully, this helps to tackle your challenge.

Tom

Hello @TomMartens . I tried to look up the difference but couldn't find it. Would you mind telling me what I hit to accidentally "develop" a measure, and where I can look to discover the difference? Thank you again.
