Odata error - "The user was not authorized"

Hello,

I have got the error "The user was not authorized" when I try to access to an OData Feed.

But when I try to access to the same OData Feed using Excel 2013, it works fine. i would like to understand why it is working with Excel and not with Power BI Desktop.

Can someone help and guide me to solve my problem, please?

Best thing you can do is probably send a frowny face to support and then they are going to ask you to turn on tracing, Options & Settings | Options | Diagnostics | Enable Tracing and then send them the file.

I, too, am having the same issue. I've tried to use oauth to use the odata feed in Power BI Desktop and I get "Unable to connect. Check your credentials." However, I am able to access the same tables via Excel with the same credentials.

Please could you let me know if there has been a resolution to this issue. I'm using OData Data Source with Basic authentication. The connection works via a browser or Excel but presents "the user not authorised" message when trying to connect via Power BI Desktop.

I can send a trace file if it helps
