Object with hyperlink and drop-down list

Dear All!

Pls, I need your help. I'd like to know how I can add a drop-down list and hyperlink object to Power BI Desktop to navigate through BI. I want to leave this on the Home sheet.

Hi @rod_puente ,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Community, and we appreciate your interest in building an interactive navigation experience in Power BI Desktop.

We’d also like to thank @Ritaf1983  for sharing the helpful video reference, which demonstrates the correct use of buttons and page navigation actions a recommended approach in Power BI.

To elaborate further on your requirement please follow the below steps:

  • For hyperlink-style navigation, you can use buttons or shapes with the Action property enabled. Set the Type to Page navigation to move between report pages, or to Web URL to open an external site.
  • As for a dropdown list for navigation, Power BI does not natively support page navigation via slicers. However, you can design a similar experience using buttons with conditional formatting or bookmarks linked to slicer selections. This does require a more customized setup.

You can find detailed guidance here: Add navigation buttons to your report in Power BI

Hope this helps. Please reach out for further assistance.
