OLE DB or ODBC error: [Expression.Error] connecting to SAP BW

Hi Experts,

One of my Power BI users encounter the below error.

image001.jpg

At the same time, one of our colleagues from the same department doesn't encounter this issue.

Our SAP BW version is 7.5 and SAP .net connector installed on their systems. Also, we have Power BI Desktop and Report Server version Jan 2022.

Can anyone help us?

Thanks in advance,

Amir

I had exactly the same issue, and others, for reports in mixed mode connected to a dataset, where that dataset wasn't the current report's dataset.  All the published reports which used that dataset were broken, visuals wouldn't render.  Since I only had three of them I hacked a solution and re-piblished the reports as a workaround.  Hoever this tells me there's a bigger issue in the environment, hopefully Microsoft will have it fixed soon...
