OLE DB or ODBC error: [DataSource.Error] ERROR [HY000] System error: No such host is known.

Hi Power BI Community,

 

While a similar thread has been posted before here:

The solutions provided in that thread did not work for me.

 

I have the following error:
OLE DB or ODBC error: [DataSource.Error] ERROR [HY000] System error: No such host is known.

 

I have been using this report for a while now (it uses a 3rd party connector - CData Power BI - Slack connector). It was working fine even upon refreshing, until now. When I hit the refresh data button I got the error as described above.

 

Any advice?

    Hi MartynasBI 

     

    Did you set up this connection yourself? Best check with the department who look after the source and check if it is still active. It could have changed name and you weren't informed. 

     

    You've probably done this laready, but contact support from CDATA.
