Hello Power BI experts
I would like to achieve the following within PowerBI space, I don't think all of it is just the functionality of the product itself however from a business user perspective doing coding and spending time on designing is not an option.
Use Case:
A sales executive would like to look at his region (ISO Country code or name) i.e.(USA, UK, CAN) sales in Power BI dashboard or app and if necessary drill down to state/province (must have 3 drill down levels)
Flow:
1- Executive enters any of the ISO country code e.g(spain)
2- Power BI app shows the sales data for that country as "country map shape"
3- Executive can download or embed that app to his/her presentation file
Questions:
1- What methods can be used to obtain GeoJSON shape file that would adjust based on the input country code
2- Will the method used suggested from #1 provide the drill down capability
Thanks

Hi @jasghar,
>>1- What methods can be used to obtain GeoJSON shape file that would adjust based on the input country code
I don't think it will possible to auto adjust the shape by input country code, current you can only change the shape map location by modify the 'shape' -> 'map' option or click on add map to add custom shape map.
In addition, current shape map not support drill feature, I think you can submit an idea to ideas forum.

Thanks fro your reply Xiaoxin Sheng.
Again the custom maps require great level of skill and time to create the desired map. I was under the impression that Power BI would have drag and drop capability for standard map layers (zip, city, county, state/province) where you can utilize the GeoJSON files as layers in the offline mode and not worry about host json on a server
