ODBC queries too long

Hello there,

I have an issue in retriving the data through ODBC connection type. After i get the first data set executed successfully and when i try for the 2nd dataset retrieval, it even refreshes the 1st data set and this pattern continues. Meaning everytime i try to get the new data set, it refreshes all the previous data sets whose connection source is the same.

Message says " waiting for other queries..... " accross the data sets

Why is this the case, cant we just let the new dataset along to run.

What do you mean by "data set"  and "dataset"?  Did you mean to say "data source"?  Look at the lineage view to see which dependencies you have, and use the query diagnostics to figure out what is actually happening
