ODBC: ERROR [HY000] [MySQL][ODBC 1.2(w) Driver][mysqld-5.7.12 mongosqld v2.8.1]Unknown database

Hi Geeks,                                  

              I was trying to connect mongoDB database with PowerBI desktop. I had installed BI connector, Mongo ODBC driver and even connected the database with PowerBI but i got a error when i click on Load. I need a immediate help. Thank you all in advance.

                           Thank you so much for your response. I already fixed the issue. The thing is we need to specify not just tge database but also the table while creating a mongoDB DSN in odbc .

I have tested on my side, but not reproduce the issue.

Here is a tutorial for your reference:

https://docs.mongodb.com/bi-connector/master/connect/powerbi/

and check if you set up DSN correctly.

I am new to the Power BI. Could you please elaborate on how to specify the table name while creating the system DSN for a mongodb database?
