ODBC Connection Table Not Found

Hi all

First time really trying to use PowerBI. I have set it up to connect to a database and the table names do populate and I can see the username logging in and out of the database itself - so the connection seems to work fine - the tables do pop up in PowerBI so its definately connecting to the ODBC source

What I am struggling with is that every time I do connect I get an ODBC error stating that its unable to find Table "table name"

Im not sure where its getting this (what seems like a user defined table name) - is there anyway I can say OK forget that "table name" at all when trying to connect? Just to see if I can get any further??

If you cannot find the table, if a link points to an external file that does not exist, or if the external file has been moved to a new location. This error can also occur if a deleted or renamed table or query is referenced on the Lookup tab of another table.

To troubleshoot this behavior, do the following:

• Check to ensure that the table or query exists. If it does not exist, you can remove all references to it, or if it is a missing table, reimport or relink the table. If it is a missing query, reimport or re-create the query. 
• When you try to open  the source table may not be in the path that you specified when it was first . If you have moved the file, you can use the Linked Table Manager to update the  information.
