ODBC Connection Not Pulling All Fields in Query Editor
Hello,
I have an ODBC connection set up to access a table in Redshift. All fields are visible in the Data view in Power BI Desktop. However, there are 2 fields not available in the Query Editor.
Additionally, connecting directly to Redshift displays the expected fields in the Query Editor and Data view.
Why isn't the ODBC connection displaying all fields in the Query Editor?
Hi v-frfei-msft,
I actually discovered the problem - I hadn't refreshed the preview view of the data! I only notice prompts to refresh the preview after ~28 days and had never manually refreshed it before. Refreshing fixed everything. (Looks like my initial problem was caused by a lack of understanding in how the query editor actually works!)
Thanks for the response!

Hi emmetk ,
Based on my test, I cannot reproduce your issue here. Did you pull the scroll bar to check other field? And please have a check whether the missing field in inclued in the M code by Advanced Editor.
