This happens every single day that I'm working on my client's Power BI Desktop reports connecting to PowerPlatform dataflows, or any other data source that requires my organizational login.
When the OAuth2 token is expired, Power BI desktop lets me lauch a refresh but the login window is hidden somehow.
Sometimes I can make it appear by swapping windows with ALT+TAB somtimes, I just can't.
I just have to wait several minutes for it to finally show me the credential error window.
And sometimes, like this morning, when I clicked on the "Sign in" button then select my account on the login window, it hangs and then returns telling me the token returned is invalid and I have to click "sign in" again.
It wasn't this way beginning of this year. Something has changed in the way Desktop handles OAuth token messages.
Or I changed something, idk.
Anyone else had this issue?
Is there any way I can force a refresh of all organizational tokens for my account on my device? I would probably force a refresh every morning just to make sure all apps tokens does not expire in the middle of the day.
I will try that!
Thanks!
There's an option to change the login browser - give that a try.
