Numbers in equations

In a powerbi measure can I use numbers to be multiplied by columns.   for example: count(Total[total hired])*(2,000)   it is not working as I have it but is there a way to have it work?

    If there's actually a comma in 2,000, try removing it

When you say it isn't working.  Are you getting a result that is different from what you are expecting?  Or are you getting an error?
