Number to text conversion still gives error
Hi, I connected some excel file for some analysis, but when I connect power bi automatically trys to change one of the column to number format since majority of item numbers are just numbers, but some of the contain letters in them so because of that it gets error message that it failed convert to number.
I tried changing format back to text, but I still get this error even tho I am not trying to covnert to number format.
Anyoen know how to resolve this problem.
I already tried to change format in excel file but that did not solve the problem.
Justas4478 Go to Power Query and undo the "Change Type" step in the applied steps. The error is created in the first Change type step, so remove (or adjust) that one and set the types yourself.
